Roller mills

First rolling mill allows, by means of two rotating rollers, whose distance is adjustable, a “roughing” of the work which will then be perfected in the subsequent processing phase with a second roller mill. The rollers rotate at two different speeds, thus crushing the clay together and eliminating grains of lime, silica and however hard granules. Roller mill works at a distance of about 3-5 mm between the rollers.

Stone separating mill is an indispensable machine for those production lines that use clay mixed with stones. In fact, in the refining mill, these stones could not be crushed and would continue to roll between the cylinders causing a rapid wear of the roller shells. The screw groove on one of the stone scraper shirts has the task of eliminating these stones and discarding them from the clay.
